Why me?

I mean, obviously, it was a chance thing.  Whoever came before me had fallen, and I was awakening just in time, it would seem.

Her name was Jessamin.  She was eight years old.  She liked My Little Pony and Hannah Montana.  She had two big brothers and a best friend named Sora.

She was raped and murdered by the TA from her class at school at six this afternoon.

I know I always say this after a death, but I'm never looking anyone in the eye again.  Not ever.

I need a drink.
